News: Starbucks Youth Action Programme

Mayor of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea congratulates Anthony Onyac on his photography submission to the London Walks photography exhibition.

Young People aged 16 – 24 that wish to make a positive difference within their community, can apply for grants of up to £2,000 through the Starbucks Youth Action programme.

As well as supporting participants to bring to life the projects that mean so much, the programme also offers training on managing a budget, working with volunteers and project management. A variety of projects have been supported so far – bee-hives to an inner-city park in Manchester, tackling cyber-bullying in Cardiff and supporting cheer-leaders in Kensington to name a few.

Young People from the following areas can apply: Greater London, Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Dublin, Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester

Deadline for applications: 5 March
