You May! is a new dance theatre work that asks what it is to live in contemporary society, where the old paradigm of ‘you can, because you must’ has been inverted to ‘you must, because you can.’ Using photography, sound and video, this interdisciplinary piece offers the spectators propositions in the realms of imagination, desire and risk.

Inspired by Chris Marker’s photographic science fiction film La Jetée.

Choreographed by Zoi Dimitriou, performed by Zoi Dimitriou and Andrew Graham, lighting desing by Chahine Yavroyan, soundscore by Andy Pink, set design by Ingrid Hu and costume design by Holly Waddington.
