From 6 June – 9 July next year, London gets the unprecedented chance to see ten Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch productions in one month. World Cities 2012 is presented at Sadler’s Wells and the Barbican in association with Cultural Industry and is part of the London 2012 Festival, celebrating Olympic and Paralympic year. The season features ten international co-productions exploring 10 global locations; India, Brazil, Palermo, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Budapest, Istanbul, Santiago de Chile, Rome and Japan.

Bamboo Blues takes inspiration from the incisive and delicate gestures of Indian dance. Made in 2007, it is a co-production with the Goethe-Institut in India.
