Philipp Gehmacher, walk+talk no.12 at the Studio Theatre, UAL
In 2008 Gehmacher developed a new form of lecture-performance, the walk+talk, in which choreographers talk about movement while moving. It has since been presented in numerous venues, either as a series with an invited artist or as a solo by Gehmacher himself.
Based in Vienna and trained in London, Philipp Gehmacher has worked in the field of dance, theatre and museums, collaborating with choreographers and visual artists alike.
