Candoco Unlimited - An Evening of New Works by Marc Brew and Claire Cunningham

Candoco Dance Company present an evening of bold new dance featuring 12 disabled and non-disabled performers from China, the UK and Brazil.

Parallel Lines by choreographer Marc Brew draws lines across the globe, connecting international cities. The emotive string score by Michael Galasso drives the piece forward creating dramatic tension between the performers in their exploration of physical limitations.

With 12 Claire Cunningham invites us into a wondrous, imaginative world – a theatrical piece that plays with life’s crutches. What holds us up? What supports us? When do they tip over from something you love to something darker? The result is a riotous piece full of childlike beauty and surreal humour.
