Big Dance Trafalgar Square

A thousand dancers take over Trafalgar Square for the finale of Big Dance 2012.

A thousand performers from across London will create a mass spectacle for Trafalgar Square. Under the direction of choreographer Wayne McGregor and with support from dance groups, emerging and professional choreographers from a range of backgrounds join forces in a once-in-a-lifetime performance.

Big Dance 2012 is the UK’s biggest ever celebration of dance. Taking place across the UK, Big Dance will feature thousands of events inspired by dance. They will take place in all sorts of locations and in all dance styles which will all be open to absolutely anyone.
