Akademi - South Asian Dance - Daredevas

Akademi presents Daredevas, an eclectic evening of Classical Indian dance from emerging artists. Daredevas features the brightest young talents showcasing a mixture of bold and adventurous dance pieces. British based with International roots, these artists provide a fresh take on traditional Indian dance styles.

This programme will feature new work from 2 emerging South Asian dance artists all examining their own practice through a contemporary perspective.

Up-beat, downbeat, elegant, energetic, cool, hot, Daredevas is a stunning mosaic of choreography designed for the 21st century.
