The Cochrane Theatre is situated in the heart of London just 10 minutes from Covent Garden. Originally named after its founder, Jeanetta Cochrane, the Theatre opened in 1964.

The Cochrane Theatre is now a receiving house which aims to present all aspects of the performing arts within a proscenium arch; to challenge the preconceptions of the space and the definitions of Theatre; to re-discover the fundamental forms and to embrace new technologies; to encourage a London wide audience to experience live Theatre through the presentation of a mixed programme.

Many of the productions are in connection with Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, which is situated next to the theatre.
