Founded in the 1960s, Nonsuch made its name first as a performing company, staging dances from the Royal Courts of Europe at historical sites across the UK, and performing in venues such as Queen Elizabeth Hall and Southwark Cathedral.

Nonsuch are now taking bookings for their Education Unit Workshops. The company has a team of professional actors, dancers and tutors who tour to primary and secondary schools throughout the UK. Nonsuch offer Tudor dance workshops, designed to complement the National Curriculum, and are also able to tailor-make a workshop suited to the particular needs of any school or organisation.
