You’ve seen the BBC Pride & Prejudice Ball re-created on TV – now come and learn the lively and elegant dances of the Regency period for yourself! In Mrs Bennet’s Ballroom you will also time travel to other periods such as the Georgian and Victorian eras. The group also practice for forthcoming balls.

Who the classes are for
All levels from beginners to experienced dancers
No previous experience is necessary.

Class details
Wednesdays twice a month – see website for dates.
Cost is £5 per class. This is not a course – you just pay on the evenings you attend.
No costume is required. No partners are needed.
What to wear: flexible soft-soled shoes and comfortable lightweight clothing.

Some of the group like to attend costumed balls with other dance groups in England, and also travel to Europe where they’ve been to Vienna, Prague, Budapest and Florence to wonderful balls in castles and grand palaces!
