Experience the Regency ballroom with lessons at Mrs Bennet’s Ballroom classes. Mrs Bennet’s Ballroom hold regular classes for those wishing to learn and enjoy the lively dances of the Regency era. Be taught by a dancing mistress who will instruct you in the elegant yet somewhat unfamiliar etiquette of the Regency Ballroom.

Join us to learn the cotillions, quadrilles and formation dances of the 19th century ballrooms and assemblies in London and Bath, as we dance through the era! In this 200th anniversary of Jane Austen’s death there will be many great events including balls.

No previous experience is necessary, just wear flexible soft-soled shoes and comfy lightweight clothes.

The classes are open to anyone 18 and above, with an interest in dance.  It is not a course, so you can join at any time.

A Dancing Mistress will instruct you in the art and etiquette of the Regency ballroom and help you learn and enjoy the lively dances of the Regency era and other historical periods. Remember to wear soft-soled shoes and light comfortable clothing. It is energetic! Suitable for all ages & experience.
This is not a course so you can join at anytime – just pay on the evening you come along.
