Founded in 1977, Islington Arts Factory is the only multi-arts community centre in the London Borough of Islington and provides over fifty educational courses in art, dance and music for children and adult learners. We believe that creativity should be undertaken for its own sake and that active involvement in the arts encourages positive personal growth throughout life and fosters social cohesion within the area.

All classes at IAF require membership, £8/term(12 weeks), £20/year or £1 daily drop in fee. IAF is required to initiate a membership system for all users, for health and safety reasons and for financial support towards our running costs. More information available on our website:

Learn the basic principles of Contemporary African dance in this fun and enjoyable class that will show you how to engage your body with more freedom.
