Review: Ballet Rakatan in Havana Rakatan at Peacock Theatre

Performance: 23 May - 23 June 07

What a feast of rhythm, color , dance and live music. From start to finish the energy of the show is amazing. The first part took us in a journey through Cuba’s cultural influences (flamenco, dances and songs of African slaves). The second part took us through music of the 20th century (mambo, bolero, cha cha cha, and salsa). If you loved Brasil Brasileiro then you will love Havana Rakatan.
