On Wednesday 14 October, Rambert Dance Company invited the world to watch its dancers in action as the company opened its doors for Rambert Live. As part of the day, Judith Mackrell, dance critic for The Guardian, chaired a panel discussion asking: How do we level the playing field for female choreographers?

A panel of eminent dance makers and programmers joined in to give their views on the debate, including Tamsin Fitzgerald, Brendan Keaney, Shobana Jeyasingh, Patricia Okenwa, Peggy Olislaegers, Rupert Thomson, Didy Veldman, and Charlotte Vincent.
