News: The Rite of Spring

The first performance of The Rite of Spring in 1913 at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées infamously caused the audience to riot. Jenny Gilbert discusses what happened that night and takes an in-depth look at the role Vaslav Nijinsky, Serge Diaghilev and Igor Stravinsky played in the whole affair.
