News: Swine flu hits Royal Ballet
The Royal Ballet’s triumphant short season in Havana, Cuba, was partially disrupted by an outbreak of swine flu. Six of the dancers were taken ill, including principals Steven McCrae and Marianela Nunez, and were unable to perform. The antiviral drug Tamiflu was distributed to the whole company and no further cases were reported. Those affected also recovered swiftly.
