News: Morris Dancers told to stop dancing by police

Wednesday 7 November 2012 by Sarah Kearney

Last week Morris Dancers in Warlingham, Surrey were asked not to continue their performance outside The White Lion pub as police had received complaints from a member of the public about the noise.

An audience of about 30 customers had been watching routines such as Thor’s Hammer, Maiden Castle and Half a Farthing Candle, but were robbed of the opportunity of enjoying at least another ten dances when the performance was cut short.
