Friday 3 August 2007

Graduates of the London Contemporary Dance School this year are going on to great things. Ninety percent of the 40 final year students have dance related work lined up for the Autumn and a record 16 students were awarded First Class degrees.

Choreographer Michael Clark attended the London Contemporary Dance School Graduation Performances this July and invited several graduates to work with his company. Other graduates have accepted positions with Richard Alston Dance Company, DV8, Hofesh Shechter, Jasmin Vardimon Dance Company, Diversions and Henri Oguike Dance Company – amongst others.

Three quarters of the students who graduated last summer are currently working professionally in dance.
