currently Director of Dance UK, will be leaving the organisation in June 2005 to take on a wide range of freelance project work.

During two years as Director of Dance UK, Ian Bramley has been closely involved in a variety of projects, including being instrumental in shaping last year’s Culture Media and Sports Committee’s inquiry into dance, establishing the Dance UK Industry Award in association with the Critics’ Circle and gaining regularly funded organisation status for ADAD (Association of Dance of the African Diaspora).

‘Whilst I am very excited about the possibilities the future holds’ said Bramley, ‘I am sad to be leaving such an extraordinary organisation as Dance UK. It has been a great privilege to work closely with so many wonderful people from throughout the dance world and to play a part in supporting the important work of professionals in the sector.’
