News: H2DANCE launches Fest en Fest Dance Festival

H2DANCE’s new international festival of expanded choreography Fest en Fest kicks off on Friday 22 to Sunday 24 June in Deptford, London.

Fest en Fest is the latest collaboration between the award-winning maverick performers and choreographers, Hanna Gillgren and Heidi Rustgaard of H2DANCE and The Albany, Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and Goldsmiths, University of London. Fest en Fest will bring artists and audiences from the UK, Sweden and Norway together for three days through a mix of performances, talks, lunches and parties.

H2DANCE has been developing the format for this new international festival of expanded choreography since early 2017, with Fest en Fest aiming to make space for artists and audiences from the Nordic and British scenes to come together to present works and ideas; discuss, provoke, influence and be a force for change.

Through performances, talks, lunches and parties, the event will have overlapping activities in and between four different spaces over three days, becoming a network for interaction and connection. The following choreographers to the programme:
