News: Catch up on Big Dance Trafalgar Square

On Saturday 14 July, 1,000 dancers took to Trafalgar Square to perform a 40 minute piece choreographed by Wayne McGregor | Random Dance as part of Big Dance 2012.

Laura Thompson writes about her experience of rehearsing towards the Big Dance in Trafalgar Square,
“For my own part, and although it is some years since I rehearsed in this way – with an amateur ballet company – I find myself immediately reverting to a dance-class mentality. I start wondering how I ever thought I could dance at all, then feel a surge of energy when something goes right, or gets better. I also feel a renewed admiration for anybody who does this for a living.”
