Akram Khan’s new work features dancers from his own company, along with members of the National Ballet of China. He tells Tamsin Blachard about his collaborative working methods: ‘It’s mostly their stories. I just distort some of the truth to keep it interesting. We improvise a lot of scenarios. I leave the room and come back and two hours later they are still and wondering where do we go from here, and that’s when interesting things start to happen, when they just let their bodies go.’ Read more in the Telegraph, 1 Mar 08
