The Society of London Theatre is looking for members of the public to join the judging panels for next year’s Laurence Olivier Awards and the closing date for applications is just afew days away on 12 November.

The Laurence Olivier Awards, established in 1976, are recognised as the UK’s most prestigious theatre awards. They are presented annually by the Society of London Theatre, in recognition of excellence in the field of performance, direction, design, playwriting, and composition in West End theatre. Four panels are open to the public covering Theatre, Opera, Dance and Affiliate Members of the Society Of London Theatre.

Panellists will be given a pair of complimentary tickets for all proposed productions between January 1 and December 31 2005. The Awards themselves will take place in early 2006.

Applicants are asked to write a 150 word review of a new production and list all the productions they have seen in the last 12 months by going online at: www.olivierawards.co.uk
