Breakin' Convention 2012 at Sadler's Wells
The May Bank Holiday may have been wet and bitterly cold, but Breakin’ Convention hasn’t lost its bounce. Now in its ninth year, the festival of hip hop dance theatre has a solid history, covering everything from rising youth groups to international acts.
Gecko, Missing at The Place
All this stream-of-consciousness and free association could unravel easily, but Lahav keeps his direction taut and sinuous – like the flamenco arms that run through the piece – and the result is a kind of restless delirium, dense with poetic effect.
Ballet Revolución at The Peacock Theatre
